Unlocking the potential for future generations to thrive

Giving countries the evidence they need to invest in early childhood development at scale.

Investing in early childhood development is one of the most effective ways for a country to fully realise its social and economic potential, but to put successful systems in place, decision-makers need evidence on what works, what works at scale, and what sequence of steps to follow in going to scale.

Thrive is a multi-country research program that aims to support countries to turn what we know about positive early childhood development into practical, scalable, cost-effective plans, with the potential to transform societies across generations.

“What is one of the best ways a country can boost shared prosperity, promote inclusive economic growth, expand equitable opportunity, and end extreme poverty? The answer is simple: Invest in early childhood development.”
